February always finds you folding local papers open to the faces...

Last day of February! I'd forgotten to use my favourite Weakerthans' February-related song line for a title but thankfully I remembered on the last possible day. Phew.

So now that March is almost here, it only means, what, about 2 more months of winter? Hahaha. Lame Canadian joke.

Anyhow, I am freaking exhausted tonight. I was bad and had a really long nap this evening which means I'll probably fall asleep far too late tonight. I had to be up early this morning to get to school to cook pancakes for the breakfast club. Yes, you read correctly - I actually cooked something. So I figure I can avoid the practice for the next month and a half.

8 more school days until March Break. My plans revolve around sleeping in every freaking day.
My Cuba trip was my March Break trip, so I'll only be heading to the tropical shores of the muddy Avon in Stratford.

Today Hawksley Workman's new CD "Treeful of Starling" came out and I purchased it. One of my favourite things in life is looking forward to a new CD from one of my favourite artists and then going and buying it on the day of release.

As I was walking home today, I thought of a billion things to blog about and now I forget. Guess that what a pre-blogging nap does. Oh well. Happy March to you!

Yeah, I love it when one of my favorite bands puts out a new album, I always buy it on the release day, and than open it and listen to it in the car. Its great to look forward to stuff like that. I guess the next one I am waiting for is the new Sam Roberts album, which is coming out in April sometime, I don't remember the date. :)

I totally was promising myself pancakes and then at the very last moment last night, opted for a bagel for supper.

Happy first day of March!!

Pancakes for Mardi Gras! How appropriate! Did you get beads?

I can't get over that there's a breakfast club! Is that where you just eat breakfast? Sounds like my kind of extracurricular activity.
