We'll carry on....

I love Thursday nights.

It's become my roommate's and mine ritualistic fun tv night. We have dinner, watch Ugly Betty while taping The Office, and then watch the tape of The Office where we die over Pam and Jim moments. Normally, we watch the current episope of The Office and then might watch some back episodes. One is so not enough.

Tonight I put together an awesome dinner - frozen lasagne, ceasar salad, ice cream and wine. I'm still a little fuzzy from the item.

Oh, if you are an Office lover - check this out. If you're not - boo.

It was nice to be back to the craziness of school today.

Good news - my dad thinks he may be out of the hospital tomorrow. Well, they're fitting him for crutches at least, so he thinks that's a sign that he might be given his walking papers. I'll be less stressed knowing that he's at home, and that my mom isn't home by herself.

Tomorrow I'm going back to St. Ratford for the weekend. I hadn't been able to see any friends when I was there over the long weekend, but my lovely friends are organizing a dessert night tomorrow for me. Hopefully the train will be punctual so I don't arrive when everything is eaten and people are on their way out.

While I was driving home from visiting my dad in the hospital in London, I heard the new My Chemical Romance song on the radio. Now, I would file My Chemical Romance under guilty pleasure since they are MuchMusic staples (and we all know how downhill Much has gotten). However, I must say this new song (Welcome to the Black Parade) is totally emo-licious and I'm quite liking it. (Note: I think it's 'cuz I'm rather emotional and angsty at the moment that something so wrought appeals to me.)

I was walking down King St. today on my way to Moutain Equipment Co-op to buy a backpack for my laptop (the case I own is too heavy and I'm tired of it) and it started to sleet. Sleet! Yuck! It's only the beginning of October. I think it was my fault for laughing at people in Winnipeg having snow.

Okay, I really should be in bed now. I got like 4 hours of sleep last night and tomorrow's another day.

Happy weekend to you!

ps This weekend will be the second anniversary of me living in this apt. with my roommate. It's crazy that two years has gone by so quickly. It's kind of sad to think we'll be moving out in July.

I loved how on the office, they had a grief counseling circle and the staff took stories from movies. It was hilarious

I am SO going to have Dwight call me. :)

As for My Chemical Romance, I think you might be alone in that department. Too "I'm 12 and want to die" for me. :)

Have an emo-licious weekend. :)
