Out across the rooftops, out towards the hills...

The weekends go far too quickly.

This weekend involved drinking wine while watching The Office backwards, seeing Little Miss Sunshine (again), shopping (and not buying anything!), an all-night contemporay art thing, lots of friends, brunch, more shopping (and only buying a CD), a little bit of work, a little bit of reading, and missing a concert (tragic, will not discuss).

Anyhow, the contemporary art thing was cool. Bascially, three large zones in Toronto were turned into an all-night art installatation called Nuit Blanche. It was cool. Becca T and I wandered around from 11 until past 1 ('cuz that's when the subways stop). I've never seen the streets so busy that late. I loved the energy and coming across unexpected art in the streets.

My favourite installation was Fog in Toronto which was set up in Philospher's Walk at U of T. There was a long lineup to walk through the fog, and I got muddy, but it was really cool.

And... I'd really really like to post the pictures that I took (yes, I remembered my camera!) but stupid blogger's being stupid. Grrrr. I'm uploading them to flickr right now, so feel free to click if you'd like to see.

Well, this is a short post, but I need to get rested for yet another week. I was thinking of all the work I need to do this week earlier today. Yuck. I might as well bring my sleeping bag to school and camp out in the staff room. Why even bother coming home? Yeesh.

Sounds like a full and fun weekend. :)

I love coming across unexpected things and events in the city. Its such a nice surprise, and I always enjoy myself because it feels like a bonus. :)

I am pissed that I missed out on the fun. One of my friends was invited into a one on one pillow fight at a closed off intersection near the University. Good times.

Hey Girl,

Glad to be back and reading. I had not read you in some time.

I love cool nights like that - - a city has so much to offer
