I've made it, my dear, face it, I still kiss the darkness.

Thanks to everyone's suggestions to help me with my musical ennui... I'm going to have to write down a list and take it with me to HMV or whatever other store I wander into this weekend and make some frivolous impulse purchases.

Although... I did manage to pass my little phase by listening to some old stuff I have listened to in awhile. Danny Michel I heart you, and I really hope I can made his CD release show in June, even though it's the day before my friend's wedding. Hmmm... nothing wrong with a sleepy wedding guest, right?

I thought there weren't very many good CDs coming out soon, but I was wrong. I've got Amy Millan's (from Stars) solo CD coming out at the end of May, and new Danny Michel and Dashboard Confessional in June. Perhaps music wasn't getting as stagnant as I feared.

Becca T and I tried to see "Akeelah and the Spelling Bee" yet again tonight. We were going to see it last weekend but then she got a little overwhelmed with work and postponed our outing. Anyway, there were no times that fit with our schedules tonight, so we saw "American Dreamz" instead. Meh. It was all right. A renter, I'd say.

Here are some pictures that I took around town a couple of weekends ago when it was raining like the dickens. I love the few short weeks when trees are in bloom, and I came across some vandalism on a mailbox that, ummm, I didn't really disagree with.

Anyhow, hope you all enjoy your weekend!

ps My real-life friend Jo has started her own blog, since she loves mine and Sandee's so. Check it out and harass her into keeping it up. Also, her spelling's atrocious, so entertainment is guaranteed. ;) She's gonna kill me for saying that but... ummm... I just can't not. She knows I love her.

Amy's coming out with a solo CD? Thanks for the 411.

ummm...I saw MI:3. Ummm. despite what I or you or anyone else feels about TC, it's quite a cheap thrill to see action movies. in other words, I liked it. But don't expect it to be cerebral. Because it's not.

The graffitti is excellent.
