What could you both possibly share (other than the colour of your hair)?

Well, there was a fire on the third floor of my building. Luckily I live on the 27th floor - far, far away from any smoke or fire. The unit that was burned is just above the main entrance of my building. It's totally burned out (all blackened inside with broken windows) and the balcony of the apartment above is all black.

After we were given the all clear, they had problems turning off the alarm, so I ended up going for a walk instead of staying at home. The alarm is freaking loud and I was already agitated enough.

Needless to say my plan of doing laundry and watching tv did not happen.

Tomorrow is another night I suppose.

Hey...I read on your MSN name about the fire. Glad to hear it was not near you and you are ok. Always seems a bit scary regardless. Miss you on MSN too, and it will only get worse from today on, as I start 3-12 tomorrow.

doh! How inconsiderate of those apartment-dwellers!

Oh man that really sucks. Did your building at least make the news?

Cheers,

Scott

The bad news is the inconvenience...the good news it wasn't your unit. I heard it was a nice day to be out for a walk anyway. Hope all is well in your apartment.

I hope everyone is ok! I also hope they had insurance.

I hope the weather was at least nice to enjoy the walk! :)

First image that came to mind was Edward Norton on a payphone outside the place...

good thing your apartment wasn't close, any word on the cause?

It took me one fire in my first apartment building for me to run out and get insurance.

Glad you weren't affected....well, at least not in any serious way.

p.s. laundry can always wait!!
