(Okay the picture is a bit crappy... I would have zoomed out, but there were these people making out on the street behind the sign, and I didn't need a picture of that to commemorate my evening.)
I had a super fun time. First of all, I feel a certain giddiness when I'm out on a school night. Especially when I have a drink or two (I had a couple beers at the show - beer, even in small quantities, hits me hard). I remember having a similar feeling sneaking out as a teenager and "fooling" the adults. Now I have a similar feeling as an adult from sort of shirking my responsibilities and having fun.
Secondly, It was sooooooooooo fun being at a small concert! Espeically since there was no cover... My 2006 concert going has been very disappointing. I need to improve in 2007. New year's resolution made already, I tell you.
The first band who played was called Howl and apparently it was their first show ever. They were fairly enjoyable. As I said to Becca T, I've seen a lot of worse bands in my day.
Colin Munroe (check out his myspace to listen to some songs), aka Becca T's musician friend, was quite good. His songs are really catchy. I'm looking forward to his CD coming out (apparently spring 2007).

Glad it was a great time. I like doing stuff like that one work/school nights. It helps the week go by faster when you are actually enjoying yourself in your spare time. :)

good to hear that the concert was fun. a;ways fun to go see 'friends' play music. I hope your resolution works out for you - - you did seem to be out of the concert loop this year. I blame the fantastic trip this summer
