But if you hit the bottom floor, you'll see the light above my door.

I am in such a better mood today thankfully.

Reason #1 that I'm such a good mood is that I started reading the book I bought last night to cheer myself up. I only read about 30 pages, but they were amazing. The book is "The Girls" by Lori Lansens. It's a book written from the point of view of conjoined twins, and it is set in southwestern Ontario. The beginning has been amazingly interesting; I haven't been rivetted like this by a book in awhile. I hope it keeps up the momentum.

Reason #2 that I'm in a good mood is that I enjoyed my day at work besides an incident that caused me to *panic* for a good 5 minutes (I thought I lost something;I didn't), and another that made me want to bash my head into a wall (more or less a kid who is really really really out to lunch - how can I help someone when they lose *everything* and can't even remember to bring a pencil to class?). Despite all of this, I still enjoyed my day.

Anyhow, I still have to say boo-urns to the fact that there is not a new episode of The Office tonight. However, next week will be an hour.

I'm taking the train to St. Ratford this weekend. I think it's going to be a busy weekend. Hope that you all have awesome weekends and thanks for all of the happy messages on my melancholy day yesterday.

ps I just downloaded the song "The Sweet Escape" from the new Gwen Stefani album. Candy. The song is like sweet delicious candy. Too fun. Get it if you need a fix of sugar.

glad to hear that your mood has brightened. hope you have a super weekend.

and thanks for that link in your last post for The Office episodes. I've bookmarked it and I'm sure that as soon as finals are over, I'll be zoned out in front of my computer watching.

:)

It is good that things are feeling up for you, Christielli. You have a lot of things to deal with. How is your dad doing lately?

Its good to hear that things are better, I don't like days like those. :)

Its cool how art has a way of making you feel better. Books and music are such great resources for happiness. :)
